T-Mobile has announced that it will hold its Uncarrier 7 event on September 10th, just one day after Apple’s own press event. T-Mobile sent out invitations with the tagline “This This It’s Personal” to select members of the press. Interesting though, T-Mobile will not be holding the event at a theater or a conference center in Las Vegas, instead it will use its own company store in San Francisco.
The event will start at 1PM PDT with doors opening 30 minutes beforehand. T-Mobile has used these events to shake-up the wireless industry. The carrier has already introduced the ability to upgrade your device whenever, announced simplified plans, removed international roaming fees, agreed to pay customers’ ETFs (early termination fees) if they switched, announced an iPhone 5s test drive program, rolled out a streaming music service for customers, and finally bringing an improved network with updates to their LTE network.
So far, T-Mobile Uncarrier strategy is paying off as the carrier is seeing strong quarterly results. We want to know, what do you think T-Mobile will announce next?
