Austin Mahone talks about being bullied while growing up

Austin Mahone got real personal in a recent interview with Attitude Magazine, talking about life before fame, which wasn’t what you think it may have been.

The 19-year-old “Dirty Work” singer told the magazine that he was “definitely not” popular with girls growing up and insisted that it “came with the music”.

Mahone also talked about how rough his school life was. “I was definitely picked on all the time,” he said. “I didn’t do anything about it, and I just kept quiet, which was a mistake,” he mentioned. “I think everyone should talk to someone if they are going through that sort of situtation. I realize that now, so I always focus on surrounding myself with good people and friends.”

Austin insisted to his fans that they should take action if they are ever in a similar situation.
