Lamar Odom has been working on recovering from his overdose last month, and he is slowly but surely doing so.
“He’s here and he’s live, but to say it’s not a long road and to say he’s fully better is not the truth either,” Kim Kardashian said in a recent interview. “He has a lot of work to do and a lot of communication therapy and having to learn to walk again and to talk again. You never know if he’ll ever be the same again.”
Khloe Kardashian has made it clear that she and Odom will not be getting back together, but that does not mean he isn’t an important member of the Kardashian family.
“Lamar is family and he’ll always be family, we’ll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him and be there for him,” she explained. It’s a really unfortunate, sad situation all the way around the board, and I just encourage people to keep on praying because the road is nowhere near over.”
Although Khloe stayed by Lamar’s side, and still continues to visit him throughout his health crisis, she has also made sure to make time for her current boyfreidn James Harden, who she said has been “understanding and great” about the complicated situtation.
Season 11 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians premieres this Sunday.
