Will Adele make her new album ’25’ available to Spotify Premium users only?

Adele has broken several of Taylor Swift’s musical records, and now the “Hello” singer may be joining her by pulling her music from Spotify.

The 27-year-old Grammy winner may be adding her name to the growing list of musicians choosing to limit streaming capabilities to their latest music. In other words, everyone may have to pay if they want to hear Adele’s latest album 25.

Spotify has reportedly declined Adele’s request and does not yet know if she will offer the album for overall streaming. A senior executive at Spotify denies the claims entirely.

“It is categorically untrue that anyone has asked us to feature Adele’s new album on premium only,” the executive said in a statement.

We will have to wait until the album officially drops at the end of the week to find out if the claims are true. There is a considerable amount of business at stake for the streaming service no matter which direction it elects to take if this situation really does turn out to be true.
