Harrison Ford stopped by Good Morning America on Tuesday to talk about everything from Star Wars, to his plane crash and even the possibility of an Indiana Jones 5.
“I’m doing great,” he said on GMA. “I’m back playing tennis, riding my bikes and having a good time.”
Ford’s plane crash wasn’t the only thing that got in the way of his career this year; he also suffered an accident on the set of the highly anticipated upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
While working on the Millennium Falcon, someone accidentally shut the door on him. Fortunately, the 73-year-old star has a great sense of humor about the whole ordeal.
“My left leg was broken,” the Han Solo actor said. “And then I waited about six months before I broke my right leg,” he joked. Thankfully, he finished filming and was lucky enough to the film in its entirety.
“It’s a really big movie,” Ford commented about the upcoming Star Wars installment. “I was delighted to see it.”
So what made Ford want to do The Force Awakens?
“A really good script,” he said. “An opporunity to work with J.J. (Abrams), who I admire. It just seemed like a good idea.”
