Adele surprises terminally ill fan

Hopefully, before reading this story, you have a box of tissue nearby.

Adele surprised a terminally ill 12-year-old girl named Rebecca Gibney during her worldwide tour. A devoted fan of Adele’s music for years, Gibney suffers from cerebral palsy, epilepsy and blindless. According to BBC, the child was told last year that she would only have another six months to live.

After running a Facebook for several months to get the 27-year-old Grammy winner’s attention, the child’s mother, Tracy, received a call from Adele’s manager to schedule an introduction.

After spending some time with Rebecca, Adele very generously gifted the family with tickets to her concert that evening as her guests.

“It’s amazing. I’ll never forget it,” Tracy said. “I do know that when Rebecca passes away, she did get her dream come true.”
