AIA & 88.7 FM, The Pulse partner for High School Football

88.7 FM The Pulse, the student radio station heard Valley-wide at East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), will serve as the radio home for the AIA’s Friday night Game of the Week during the upcoming 2016 high school football season. Live broadcasts begin this Saturday, August 20th, with coverage of the Sollenberger Classic at Coconino High School in Flagstaff. At 1pm, Brophy Prep will battle Pinnacle, followed by Desert Edge v. Centennial at 6pm. Coverage then switches to Friday nights, starting August 26th, with Williams Field hosting Deer Valley on 88.7 FM at 7pm. EVIT Radio Instructor & longtime ESPN-Chicago broadcaster Dave Juday will share the play-by-play duties with veteran Phoenix sportscaster Michael Carotenuto. They’ll be joined by color analyst Max Starks, a 2-time Super Bowl champion offensive lineman with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Also, on select Fridays, Pulse Sports will also broadcast an East Valley showdown on 90.7 FM, featuring EVIT Radio alumni Steven Cusumano & Joey Liberatore, as well as current EVIT Radio students.
