A member of the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls help create new boy band

As a member of the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter knows what it’s like to have legions of fans adore him. Now, he will have a chance to influence the next big boy band on one of ABC’s latest sizzling summer shows. Playing dual roles as judges and mentors are Emma Bunton of Spice Girls fame and Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. Also just added to the panel June 7th is Grammy-award winning producer Timbaland. The reality show will be hosted by Rita Ora, featuring thousands of handsome, hopeful guys vying for the opportunity to sign a recording contract. Every episode, fans will ultimately decide who stays and who goes. By the conclusion of the show, five lucky dudes will be selected to be in a new group. Boy Band premieres Thursday, June 22nd on ABC.
