Teen Choice Awards 2017 set to air Sunday on FOX voted on by viewers



One of the summer’s hottest live shows is back with brand-new nominees. The Teen Choice Awards 2017 will air on FOX, Sunday, August 13th in prime time. Hosted by professional wrestler John Cena and actress-singer Victoria Justice, the awards celebrate the year’s achievements in music, film, television, sports, fashion, comedy, and the Internet, and were voted on by viewers aged 13–19 through various social media sites. Leading the nominations are the supernatural, dramatic TV series, “Pretty Little Liars,” with seven, followed by the critically acclaimed, smart and fun CW TV show, “The Flash” with four. Other leading nominees are The Arrow, Supergirl, This Is Us, and The Vampire Diaries, each with three. Prince of pop Harry Styles tops the music category with three nominations. There are two fresh new categories added this year including, Choice Throwback TV Show and Choice Latin Artist.
