Twitter announced that there is now a new most-liked tweet of all time and that achievement goes to former President Barack obama when he tweeted, “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…” pic.twitter.com/InZ58zkoAm — Barack Obama (@BarackObama) August 13, 2017. With 4.1 million likes and climbing, the tweet came as a response to the events that occured in Charlottesville, N.C. where one person was killed over clashes between white supremists and protesters. The tweet was borrowed from South African President Nelson Mandela, from his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom. The picture depicting children of four different races was taken by White House photographer Pete Souza in June 2011. According to fortune.com, Obama has around three times as many followers as Trump.
