Target increases minimum wage for employees

Retail giant Target has increased their minimum wage to $11 an hour with a goal of $15 an hour by 2020. Some may wonder if that includes the 100,000 seasonal employees expected to be hired this fall, and the answer is YES!

I’ll be honest. I used to be a cashier at Target in the late 1990s and they always paid better than minimum wage. I actually did enjoy working there! I especially loved being a cart attendant believe it or not, at least in the winter. It was a good workout!

Congrats to Target employees!
