UK Company reveals what the average person spends in their lifetime on music

How much money do you think you would spend in a lifetime on music?

This month back in 2005, a UK company called Prudential conducted a poll that concluded the average person spent around $42,000 on music during their lives. That’s an entire year’s salary for some people! The amount included the total spent on equipment, concerts and compact discs, more popularly known as CDs.

Music enthusiasts were likely to spend more than double that, parting with more than $89,000 over a lifetime. Do you believe it? I do! I used to spend thousands on music alone! I was all about the collector’s vinyl, CDs, and shows!
