New Nutella recipe upsets fans who flip out on social media sites

Adding to the growing list of things you may not have known are, McDonald’s restaurants in Italy serve Nutella on hamburger buns. Hmm … I’ll try anything once! And, at least one German soccer team dropped a player who couldn’t stop eating it.

Ferrero, the Italian company that makes Nutella, Tic Tacs and Ferrero Rocher chocolates, claim they fine tuned the original recipe by adding a bit more skimmed milk and increasing sugar insisting that “the quality . . . and all other aspects of Nutella remain the same,” according to a statement gathered from BBC.

Some fans say it does not taste similar to the Nutella they have grown to love.

Over the past few years, the chocolate hazelnut spread has seen sales increase in the United States, despite it’s unhealthy status as “pure sugar,” and having too many calories.
