Best days of the week to purchase your family Christmas tree

Americans spend around $250 million on Christmas trees each year, and it’s time to start shopping for your fresh Christmas tree if you haven’t already.

88.7 The Pulse has the best and worst days to pick up your favorite pine, according to Square data analysis.

As you probably figured, Black Friday is the worst time to get a Christmas tree, basically because almost everyone is looking to buy one then. So how about the best? That would be Christmas Eve.

As far as days of the week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the ideal time to grab that big green tree. Those days the least amount of trees are sold so you are likely to get a better deal or maybe even negotiate your price. Doesn’t hurt to try right?

Arizona, surprisingly, is one of the more expensive states when it comes to buying Christmas trees. The cheapest trees in the nation are in North Dakota (Our morning guy Steve’s home state!)

There you have it! Weekdays are the best days for Christmas tree shopping.
