Happy National Pancake Day!
IHOP is giving away free pancakes today (Tuesday, Feb. 27) in honor of International House of Pancakes’ “National Pancake Day.”
To get a free short stack of pancakes, simply go to any IHOP location between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and ask for yours. (Limit one per guest; dine-in only.) Select locations will offer extended hours until 10 p.m.
While customers aren’t required to pay for their pancakes, IHOP is asking people to instead make a donation to charity partners Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A short stack of original buttermilk pancakes typically costs around $4.79, if you’re wondering what’s a good amount to donate.
IHOP says it has raised nearly $30 million for charity through National Pancake Day since 2006.
“At IHOP, we think doing good is delicious. Every stack of pancakes we serve on our signature day counts toward helping our charity partners improve the health and lives of millions of children and families across the country,” IHOP president Darren Rebelez said in a statement.
