Brand New Horror-Themed Bakery Open in Chandler

Museum and bakery with bone-chilling goods and horror decor opens up in Chandler

Ki ki ki… ma ma ma…

Horror fans beware! A new bakery in Chandler is home to REAL props from REAL classic horror films and horror movie-themed treats.

Spooky Swirls opened on July 3rd, and it is a 1,575-square-foot space located on Elliot and Alma School roads in Chandler that ties in their love for cult classics into their delicious treats!

Just some of their iconic cakes include the likeliness of the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, the (so bad it was good) classic film Sharknado, and Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.

The shop was created in due large part to a collaboration with The Horror and Sci-Fi Prop Preservation Association (HSPPA), an organization that focuses on keeping the spirit of horror alive through screen-used props.

The company donated 160 of the most iconic props in horror movie history, from the head of the Alien, to the original Chucky doll from Child’s Play.

That’s not all, Spooky’s also claims to have the world’s strongest coffee… at least that’s what they say. The “Death Wish Coffee” is said to be 200% stronger than a regular cup of coffee.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the shop on August 9th, and on August 10th, they will host a celebration that will include an appearance from the actor who played Pinhead in Hellrasier: Judgement, Paul T. Taylor.

Spooky’s Swirls is open 7am to 3pm Wednesday through Friday, and 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Heeeere’s Spooky’s!
