Horror and Sci-Fi themed bakery debuts in East Valley

This weekend is the Grand Opening of the highly anticipated Spooky’s Swirls! It’s this Saturday August 10th from 10AM – 4PM!! Located at 3029 N Alma School Road #117, Chandler, AZ 85204, near Alma School and Elliot.

“Spooky’s Swirls – Props & Pastries” is a horror/sci-fi themed, gluten free bakery with a museum of actual screen used props and wardrobes on display. Spooky’s offers a welcoming atmosphere that beckons patrons to stay awhile; not only to experience the amazing exhibits of Film History, but to stick around and enjoy the devilishly delicious treats and coffees while socializing or taking advantage of their library of vintage genre magazines and licensed movie screenings.

One of the incredible screen used pieces on display is Paul T. Taylor’s costume he wore as PINHEAD in HELLRAISER: JUDGMENT with a custom bust made from the production molds by the films writer, director & SFX artist, Gary J. Tunnicliffe. This piece is extra special because in addition they have something more….

….GRAND OPENING SPECIAL GUEST…. Paul T Taylor, “PINHEAD” from Hellraiser: Judgment!! Paul will be in-store signing a special Spooky’s “Pinhead’ print FREE with purchase of any select pastries or Death Wish Coffee® and taking photos!!! (One print per item purchase)

A couple costumed characters will be present including Tusken Raider (Star Wars) and The Arizona Ghostbusters from 12pm – 4pm

Spooky’s Swirls is headed by Pastry Chefs, Lola Forbes & Chris Szydlowski. Together they have over 30-years of combined knowledge and experience.
