What’s New at the 2019 Arizona State Fair

The 2019 Arizona State Fair opens Friday, October 4 and runs through Sunday, October 27.

The Arizona State Fair has been entertaining Arizona residents for generations. It consistently provides families with fun memories that last a lifetime, and 2019 is no exception. This year, the fair is excited to offer an array of new experiences, including esports activities, the Museum of Monsters (just in time for Halloween!), the thrilling Titan ride, and an incredible lineup of tribute bands. You won’t want to miss them!

Esports Gaming World

Get your controls out, because competition is hitting the computer screens at the 2019 Arizona State Fair! This year, Esports Gaming World will offer video game entertainment for the whole family, including gaming demos, virtual reality, PC and console gaming stations, live-stream spectator events, and daily tournaments on the Arizona Lottery Esports Stage. You can be a winner from the total cash prize pool of $19,000. Whether you are a gaming pro, enjoy watching others play or are simply interested in the world of esports, you won’t want to miss this gamers’ paradise.

Plus, for all you old-school gaming fans, don’t miss out on Arizona State Fair’s first-ever Retro Arcade! Cobra Arcade is giving fairgoers the chance to step back in time to the 80s’ with the nostalgic sights and sounds of classic games (Galaga throw down, anyone?).

Museum of Monsters

October doesn’t just mean Fair Fun – it means SPOOKY fun. The Museum of Monsters is coming to the Arizona State Fair to provide a dozen selfie-ready creepy creatures and all things that go bump in the night – like Pennywise, Dracula, and, of course, our friend Jason. While you’re in mid-scream, be sure to snap a selfie with an iconic horror movie monster and post using #MonstersAtTheFair. For just $5, you and your friends can take part in this spooktacular social media pop up!

New Ride – Titan

Appearing for the first time in Phoenix, the adrenaline pumping, 17 story (that’s 160 feet) Titan. Once at the top, riders will be inverted and flipped over the fairgrounds, dropping at 4G acceleration at speeds of over 60 miles per hour. Are you ready to handle this exhilarating one-of-a-kind experience? Use #CallMeTitan to show off this power machine of excitement during your trip to the Arizona State Fair!

Tribute Bands

What do Elton John, Prince, Selena, Queen, and Bruno Mars all have in common? They’re going to be tribute bands at this year’s Arizona State Fair! Relax and grab a bite to eat as you sing and dance to your favorite hits from 15 different tribute bands, each celebrating the music from some of the most iconic music groups and artists of all time. Included with your Fair Admission.
