After weeks of lottery fever, the Powerball winning numbers are “8, 27, 34, 4, 19 and the Powerball of 10.”
Millions of American citizens waited impatiently on Wednesday night to see who will be the lucky winner taking home $1.6 Billion in Powerball.
As the wait took longer, Powerball players were willing to drive extra miles in command of the of the pricey outcome, the overall cash value of this evening’s drawing was an estimated $930 million..
According to NBC, “Retiree William Burke drove 45 minutes from his Nevada home to the California border, then spent three hours online at a lottery vendor to scoop up 10 tickets for $20.”
Although, this year California was lucky! Just east of Los Angeles, the winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on Chino Hills Parkway in Chino Hills, California.
California lottery officials moments later tweeted, “We have a winner in California! A jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Chino Hills. We’re still awaiting results from other states.”

The Powerball jackpot first started at $40 million on Nov. 7, 2015.
