Arizona teen gives emotional performance on America’s Got Talent

This season of America’s Got Talent is turning out to be a great representation of Arizona’s best ! First we were introduced to Oscar Hernandez from Glendale who put on a fiery performance of freestyle dance, and now we are treated to 13 year old Evie Clair, who has the voice of an angel. Her inspiration for auditioning for the show came from her Dad, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and given a five percent chance to live. That was one year ago and today, he and her Mom were there to cheer her on ! The Florence, Arizona teen chose to perform Christina Perri’s, “Arms,” which she says she sang for her Dad when he had rough days to help him feel better, give him strength, and fight to continue living. The studio audience and most likely, those watching at home, were brought to tears by her rousing number. She received a standing ovation.
