New laws in Arizona to be aware of that go into effect for August onward

Important new laws to be conscious of in Arizona go into effect this month including one which protects people from being sued who rescue a child or animal in a dangerous situation that is locked in an unattended vehicle. HB2494 was recently signed by Gov. Doug Ducey. Another of those new laws target teens under 18, who may want to be aware that during the first six months of having their drivers license or learners permit, they are banned from using cellphones while operating a vehicle under the new SB1080 law. Finally, are you someone that has a license plate cover? You may want to remove it because you can now receive a ticket if it covers or obstructs your license plate under the new law SB1073.
