Here are fun free things to do in Arizona any day of the week

Who says you can’t have a good time on a budget, or no money at all!

Every second Tuesday of the month at Desert Botanical Garden, guests receive free admission to take in over 50,000 desert plants at the east Phoenix location. It’s a world-class experience with permanent trailside exhibits, temporary art exhibitions and seasonal experiences. Curious about the best botanical gardens in the U.S.? Every Wednesday from 3 to 9pm, the Phoenix Art Museum offers attendees a cost-free browsing experience. Not a bad deal for the largest art museum in the Southwestern United States! Critically acclaimed national and international exhibitions are shown alongside the Museum’s permanent collection of more than 18,000 works of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design.

Every Thursday is the opportunity to experience the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, or SMoCA, without having to pay any entry fee. Global in its focus, SMoCA is a gathering place to experience contemporary art and culture.

Culture passes available at your local public libraries in Mesa, Scottsdale, and many others offer free admission to 14 different cool places across the Valley of the Sun, any day of the week including Arizona Science Center, Heard Museum, and Japanese Friendship Garden.

Now get out there and have some fun while putting some culture in your life! Oh yeah, don’t forget to bring a friend or three!
