Snow and fun coming to Arizona for the holidays

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 26, 2018 through Tuesday, January 1, 2019!

Arizona Science Center’s Snow Week, a Phoenix tradition, is the premiere place to play in the snow!

During Snow Week, the Science Center covers the grassy hill near the entrance with more than 100 tons of real snow to blanket the Heritage & Science Park in seven days. Make snow angels, build a snowman and sled at the longest running snow day event in the Valley.

The fun and exploration continue as you dance in falling snow when entering the Arizona Science Center. Everything from Star Wars and superheroes to fairy tales and sports day are featured. The Center will have themed days PLUS a Snow Week favorite tradition. It is found nowhere else in the Valley – ‘Snowing Ping Pong Ball’ Explosions!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a magical day. The Center returns to Hogwarts for a Yule Ball. Dress in your finest House robe or as a muggle. Then get ready for Harry Potter themed fun!

And don’t miss Cosmic Playground before it ends January 13, 2019! Climb, slide and explore the galaxy in this one-of-a-kind space-inspired experience!

Science Center admission is $18; $13 for ages 3-17.
