Need Some Extra Cash? Watch Stephen King Movies and Earn $1,300 Before Halloween

Watch 13 movies based around Stephen King novels and watch your paper stack!

Are you bored at home during Fall Break? Are you bored ever? Do you like scary movies? Boy, do I have the job for you…

Cable TV company Dish is looking to hire a person to watch 13 films that were made in after a Stephen King novel before Halloween hits. They’re willing to pay $1,300 for your efforts.

The requirements? You must be at least 18 years old and can track your experience along the way in a detailed fashion. That’s it.

What are the films? Well, needless to say you will always be on your toes with these classics:

•Carrie (original or 2013 remake)

•Children of the Corn

•It (original or 2017 remake)

•The Mist

•Pet Sematary (original or 2019 remake)

•Salem’s Lot

•The Shining

You will be provided with a FitBit watch to monitor your heart rate while watching, and you’ll be asked to share your thoughts about each movie with Dish’s audience once finished with each film.

Beyond the cash and fitness tracker, Dish is also providing the lucky viewer with copies of all of the films, a flashlight, blanket, popcorn, candy, and some Stephen King paraphernalia. You’ll also get a gift card to see a 14th movie, either It: Chapter 2 or Doctor Sleep in theaters.

You can apply for the position now with a 200-word essay and optional video on Dish’s site. The deadline is October 15th.
