This Valley Dentist is Offering Cash For Your Kid’s Halloween Candy

Though delicious, candy can be detrimental to your dental health. This Gilbert dentist has a solution...

Candy… we all love it. Especially kids. The sugary treats have been a staple for Halloween festivities for years, but it’s always been in protest by dentist offices everywhere.

This time, instead of just telling your kids to limit their Halloween candy, Islands Pediatric Dentistry wants to pay your kids for their candy.

Islands is offering $1 for every pound of candy that your child brings in to their offices.

Dr. Rez, Islands Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Rez, who is a board-certified dentist and the owner of Islands Pediatric Dentistry, says that the increase in youth dental problems have been shocking…

Today, it is estimated that 50% of all U.S children have a cavity before they turn 6, and tooth decay is the number 1 reason why kids nationwide miss school.

The promotion will last the 2 days after Halloween, and all the candy bought back will be sent to troops overseas.

The offices are located on Elliot and McQueen Roads in Gilbert.
