Brand New Sesame Street-Themed Water Park To Open in San Diego

It's where the there's sunny days and the air is sweet...

SeaWorld has gotten some pretty bad press recently. Their killer whale shows are subject to a lot of animal abuse, as confirmed by the several deaths of large whales in the park over the last few years.

The park has since shut down that section of the park, but they plan to open up a new park it is sure to get the kids going crazy!

Sesame Place concept map, opening in 2021

The park announced Monday that the nation’s second Sesame Place Park will open it’s doors in San Diego in the Spring of 2021.

The park is set to replace the former SeaWorld Aquatics Park.

The first Sesame Place Park opened in Philadelphia a little over 40 years ago. It became the world’s first Certified Autism Center when it opened.

Where will Oscar the Grouch be during this whole experience? I imagine he’s not a big fan of slides…
