Arizona has new information about COVID-19 you should know

WHAT WE KNOW NOW:
Arizona is currently 23rd in the nation for the most CV-19 cases with 4,234 as of Thursday, April 16th. Altogether, that’s 1 out of every 2,000 Arizonans that has COVID-19. As a result, 150 people have died from complications. The most troubling statistic is that less than one percent of Arizona residents have been tested for the coronavirus.

The Top 5 most affected zip codes in Arizona are Peoria at 85382 (85 cases), Tucson at 85714 (83), Mesa (Approx. Main St to Baseline and Power to Val Vista) at 85206 (69), Page at 86040 (60), and Scottsdale (Approx. 56th st to Pima and Thomas to McKellips) at 85257 (58).

These remaining zip codes also report higher numbers of cases than other areas; Tucson at 85706 (58), Chandler (Approx. Pecos to Elliot and Price to Alma School) at 85224 (55), Winslow at 86047 (54), Tucson at 85745 (49), Green Valley at 85614 (45).

The least affected by COVID-19 are children and teens representing only 3% of cases, while, surprisingly, seniors are only a quarter of the cases. Those who are between ages 20 and 44 hold the most cases. * 39% 20-44 years, 34% 45-64 years, 25% 65+ years, and 3% ages 0-19.
