Call to Unite livestream event features over 200 celebrities Friday May 1, 2020

Over 200 celebrities, artists, and leaders will participate in “Call to Unite” 24-hour livestream event this Friday, May 1st.

The star-studded occasion, organized by Special Olympics CEO Tim Shriver, will offer hope and solidarity. GiveDirectly and Points of Light will encourage donations that will benefit those impacted by the pandemic.

Participants include former President George W. Bush, Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, Common, Jennifer Garner, Quincy Jones, Marie Kondo, Martin Luther King III, Questlove, and more.

“Call to Unite” will stream on Friday evening, May 1st, at 6p local time on Unite.us. In addition, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, LinkedIn, and SiriusXM will also broadcast the event.
