President Donald Trump will be making a stop in Arizona next week amid his administration’s push to reopen the U.S. economy.
“I think I’m going to Arizona next week,” Trump said during a roundtable meeting on Wednesday, though it’s unclear as to what exactly is on the itinerary for the president’s visit.
A report from Bloomberg says that while no official plans for the trip are in place as of yet, it’s likely that Trump’s visit will include a tour of a manufacturing plant that has been responsible for producing protective masks during the coronavirus pandemic.
During the roundtable, the president also teased the return of his signature campaign rallies, several of which have been held in Arizona, one as recently as February.
“We’re going to start to move around, and hopefully in the not too distant future we’ll have some massive rallies and people will be sitting next to each other,” Trump added.
