Livestream concert “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future,” Saturday June 27 will feature numerous pop culture personalities

Looking for some at-home entertainment this weekend? 88.7 The Pulse has you covered with the news of yet another livestream concert featuring your favorite Pulse artists and more!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will host the next Global Citizen streaming concert.

The June 27 livestreamed weekend event, titled “Global Goal: Unite for Our Future — The Concert,” will “celebrate innovators, scientists, health workers, activists and organizations” working to fight the spread of COVID-19.

Performers include Shakira, Coldplay, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Quavo, J Balvin, and Christine and the Queens. Chris Rock, Hugh Jackman, Kerry Washington, Charlize Theron, and others will also make appearances.

Global Citizen previously organized the “One World: Together at Home” virtual benefit concert along with Lady Gaga.

Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube will stream the concert Saturday. It will also be broadcast on TV.
