Cardi B and Offset of Migos filing for divorce after 3 years of marriage

I guess she didn’t like it like that.

Rappers Cardi B and Offset are officially filing for divorce after 3 years.

Cardi filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse on Tuesday, claiming that her marriage is “irretrievably broken” and that “there is no prospects for a reconciliation” after discovering that the Migos rapper had been unfaithful.

The couple, who also share a 2-year-old daughter, is set for court on Nov. 4th.

This was the final straw for Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar), as the split follows similar accusations made during their relationship. In January of 2018, Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) found himself in the middle of a sex tape scandal, in which he was seen with an unidentified woman in a leaked tape.

They had tied the knot just a month prior to the incident.

When asked why she didn’t break it off after that incident, she had this to say:

“I know I look good, I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player,” she said. “But I want to work out my s— with my man, and I don’t got to explain why.”

They had their first child, Kulture Kiari 6 months later.

That new-baby-fever didn’t last long though. A month later, Cardi was accused of organizing an attack on two bartenders at Angel’s Strip Club in Queens, New York – because she suspected that Offset had an affair with one of them. She was indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges, including two counts of reckless endangerment, and one count of assault.

Cardi ultimately pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Representatives of both artists did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
