EVIT Radio to Broadcast East Valley High School Football Games

88.7 FM/The Pulse, the student radio station at East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), will broadcast eight East Valley high school football games during the 8-week regular season, from October 2nd through November 20th. The broadcast schedule features schools throughout the East Valley, including Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee and Queen Creek. It also includes the defending Open division champion (Chandler), Open division runner-up (Saguaro), Open division qualifiers (Hamilton & Centennial), 6A runner-up (Red Mountain), 5A state champ (Williams Field), and 5A runner-up (Campo Verde).

The Pulse is a centerpiece of EVIT’s Radio/Audio Production program, located at the Main Campus of EVIT. It is a public radio station that showcases the talents of the students enrolled in the program. The broadcasts provide current EVIT Radio students the opportunity to gain valuable experience contributing as play-by-play announcers, analysts & on-site engineers. EVIT students will also handle all pre and post-production of the broadcasts.

The Pulse has established itself as the go-to place for live radio coverage of high school athletics. Pulse Sports is entering its sixth year of broadcasting high school football, boys and girls high school basketball and high school baseball and softball games.
